Today one of the black 3d printed pulleys broke in half. Interestingly enough the machine continued to run. I've glued the cracked bits back together and will attempt to reinstall on Tuesday. I'll probably ease back on the belt tension a wee bit. I'm also going to see how hard it is to lath a set of replacement pulleys. Although I'm also thinking a spacer and two appropriately sized washers would work just as well. I'll let folks know how it turns out. (I know I could probably order a replacement part...but part of kickerstarter joy is to help the entrepreneurs with the shake out of new bits of gear.)
I wonder if a few wraps of Teflon pipe tape might help hold /cushion the piece better.
