Cut 3D objects in 2D

This is online software to cut parts to asymble 3D objects.

  • I've not yet connected my Emblaser, but have it fully assembled. I'm still reading the entire forum to get a better handle on things. I examined the above web site and see how the application works, but have a question. Other people have posted models to the gallery in .3dmk, .stl and .obj formats. Which of the three is used to make the Emblaser do its thing?
  • So far I've only used Cut2D to generate paths/gcode (.nc files) to lase from drawings produced in Illustrator and as far as I can see it will only open .crv, .dxf, .dwg. .eps, .ai, or .pdf files.
